In Pekanbaru, breakfast is a serious matter. You can't do anything or go anywhere without breakfast. That's why there are a lot of restaurants serving breakfast only. In other cities, breakfast outlet is simple like a fast food outlet or often takes place on pedestrian. Here, some people use breakfast outlet (kedai sarapan / kopitiam), not cafe, as unofficial business meeting as well.

Sarapan Pagi Onen is behind Mesjid An Nur. It's the biggest mosque in Pekanbaru. However, you might miss it if you don't take a good look at it. Just find a lot of cars parking on a place that looks like not the right place for them.

Although it looks like a very small place, it's actually large enough. The owner built a spacious room at the back. 

The main menu is lontong sayur. I think it's the best I've ever tasted. Other than that, there are also fried rice and soto. Yes, full of carbo. The service was very quick. Unlike other traditional restaurants in Pekanbaru which are served by male employees, you are served by female employees here. Maybe because the owner is also female.

Unfortunately, I forgot to order teh taluak (tea with egg) and ordered iced milk coffee instead. The prices are not expensive. Only Rp 60.000 for three person.
